India entered the new millennium, with a strong aversion to mens facial hair. Young guys in colleges were increasingly getting rids of the mustache that was the hallmark of the Indian male. For a decade the mustache has been a no no in college fashion.
But suddenly the manly moochh sems to be making a comeback. Bollywood actors are increasingly resorting to beards and full grown mustaches to shun the boyish looks for a macho image. Abhishekh Bachchan had to do it to shield his abnormal face but the Ranveers are employing to much greater effect. Add to it that the indian cricketers have joined the moochh party as well. The mustache is definitely the upcoming fashion statement for the next decade.
