One step forward and then two back!

The great Indian phenomenon of whim, impatience, longing for short term solutions and notion of existence of a magic pill to all worldly solution never ceases to brim. And the lack of endurance to weather storms and fight it out when the going gets tough is always juxtaposed with this.
Why do we panic when we need to relax?
Why to we mumble when we need to listen?
Why do we hibernate when we need to act?
Why do we retreat when we need to exhibit valor?
Why bother!!!!!!!!!!!
The frenzy over the cricket teams performance in South Africa will stand testimony to all I ve said earlier. The parliament discussing the cricket loss after the first one dayer is ridiculous. There are bigger issues in the country and the MPs better focus on them. Having a politician at the helm of Indian cricket is the saddest thing that has happened to Indian cricket rather than 10 consecutive losses or whatever. I cant understand Sharad Pawar criticizing Greg Chappel as I am pretty sure who understands cricket better. And Saurav Ganguly back in the team??? For God sakes , give me one evidence what he has done to deserve this. If you are arguing about experience in the middle order better bring in Sanjay Manjrekar or Vinod Kambli , both are capable of outperforming dada in the longer version of the game even today. Absence of Yuvraj, non performance of Sehwag and out of form Sachin has greatly hampered the team. Teams’ policy to stick with Kaif is also questionable, and the South Africans are equally responsible for providing inadequate match practice for the team. However I am not too concerned with the performance right now because the recent happenings around me have made me a firm believer of law of averages and I am loving the equilibrium equation right now. Indian team performance will soon hit the bottom of the abyss and the recoil will be higher by the time of the World cup. Don’t believe me? just look back the performance before the last world cup. Quite possibly we won’t be runners up this time :) :)
