About Locks and Keys!

Kadi Kondaa Kulup Chaawee aanee Maazaa Chhattiss cha aakda aahe!
I never never ever in my life have had a good time with the Keys. I guess I always got a bad deal on this stuff or I some how always managed to mess them up. Starting with my very first bicycle lock which rusted in no time and started giving me hard time locking it down. I struggled most times locking our house door and asked Dad to replace it which he magnanimously did even though i was the only one who believed that it didnt work well.
Whed Dad got me a new TVS Victor in my Second year engineering I had started having a hard time locking its handle and the fuel tank by my third year. I blamed the TVS initial product Quality (despite of the fact that TVS is the First Indian company with ISO as well as QS Quality ratings and my Dads supposedly inferior Bajaj worked well for years ) and went ahead and drafted a well scathing e-mail to the Quality head in Hosur censuring the Quality issues in my vehicle [:P]
I left India for my MS but my troubles with keys took the flight to Houston the very next week to join me. Our 122 Cherry hollow apartment was ridden with faulty knobs and my room till date doesnt lock properly. We have been through the exercise of exiting though the (emergency) windows on numerous occasions because the doors wont open from any side.
Now this was not happening: New students arrive for Fall 06 and a girl is stranded outside Cherry 102 - door is not opening. And I have to be there at that time {God plays tricky games}. Up comes the request - "can u please open the door for me."  Here I am struggling to open my own locks , from where am I gonna open this one. The key goes in TURN TURN TURN TURN - no way, Lift the door, pull it, thrust it downward, NOTHING WORKS. Dejected disappointed disconsolate crestfallen I hand over the Key and return to my apartment.
And Today morning my Office door in the University didn't open!!!!!!
